Het groepje hierboven is de fotoredactie van Scoop, het mediamagazine dat gemaakt wordt door de laatstejaarsstudenten Journalistiek van de Arteveldehogeschool in Gent.
Wat doet een fotoredactie? Veel plezier maken, veel stressen, veel vloeken en natuurlijk ook de gepaste beelden bij het juiste artikel zoeken. Het klinkt gemakkelijker dan het is.
Ondertussen is de redactie bezig met een tweede Scoop in elkaar te steken. Ik help niet meer mee want alle artikels waarvoor ik een fotootje moest zoeken, stonden in de eerste Scoop van dit jaar en ik vertrek overmorgen op stage.
Maar aan degenen die wel nog zwoegen op het mooiste beeld van Walter Zinzen: volhouden! Jullie komen er wel. De eerste Scoop was een pareltje (al zeg ik het zelf), de tweede zal het ook wel worden.
The group at the pictures are the picture editors of Scoop, the media magazine that is made by the final-year-students Journalism at the Artevelde college in Ghent.
What do picture editors do? Have lots of fun, have lots of stress, curse a lot and find the propper images for a text of course. It sounds easier than it is.
Meanwhile, the editors started with a second Scoop. I'm not involved anymore because all the articles that needed an image from me are already in the first Scoop and Wednesday I'm leaving for my internship.
But to those who are still sweating on the nicest picture of Walter Zinzen: keep up the good work! You'll reach the end. The first Scoop was marvellous (as I may say myself), the second one will be marvellous too.
